Charles Baker Qualifies for Clerk of Court

Late this afternoon Charles Baker (Chief Deputy Clerk of Court) qualified to run for his boss’ position.  So it would not be a suprise, he also faxed a press release to The Times at the same time he qualified.  Charles also applied to join the Hall County Republican Party this afternoon.

Patti Cornett Qualifies for Probate Judge

At 2PM this afternoon, Judge Patti Cornett qualified to run for re-election as Probate Judge.  The probate court handles guardianship matters, marriage licenses, and concealed firearm permits.  So far, 2 candidates have qualified to run for probate judge–Dan Sammons qualified on Monday and Patti Cornett today.  Good luck to both in their campaigns!
