Congratulations to the Republican Winners!

I’m in a hurry to get to the Elections Office, but I wanted to be the first to congratulate those who have “won” because they have no opposition:

Steve Cronic – Sheriff (60 years since the last uncontested race?  Is that right?)

Larry Baldwin – Solicitor General

Tom Oliver – Commissioner Chairman (so much for the curse)

Craig Herrington – School Board Post 3

Nath Morris – School Board Post 4

Margaret Gregory – Magistrate Judge

Marion Merck – Coroner (had a close call–another potential candidate came by but decided not to qualify)

Chris Patton – Surveyor
