Today the COVID-19 infection numbers reached triple digits. It is an unfortunate number, but it still only represents 0.0098% of Georgians. Also, the 34% rate of increase is not the biggest one-day increase we have seen so far (but the number is the biggest at 261). Sadder still, 7 additional deaths were reported, bringing the total to 32. I will post the chart below, but the expected increase tomorrow will be between 101 and 350 based upon my simplistic models depicted.
In related news, Gov. Kemp issued an order on March 23, 2020, closing all bars and nightclubs. I know one when I see one of those, but I wonder what the legal definition is? Without researching it, I would say the absence of foodservice. Around my area, there are no such places, so this might only affect the metro areas of Georgia.
